Acknowledgments

We like to thank Prof. Dr.-Ing. Siegfried Pahl for the possibility to run such a project in the course Lightweight Design. The experience being gained here can't be achieved with theoretical education only. Furthermore we like to thank him for his commitment to carry through such a project even against critical voices from inside the university.

Also we have to thank Dipl.-Ing. Joachim März who has made the realization and implementation of the project in this quality possible and supported us in both word and deed and a lot of time.

Special thank goes to Dipl.-Ing. Peter Wedemeyer and Thomas Witte from the Labor für Bauteilfestigkeit (laboratory for structural analysis), who not only lend us room, but also put their competent knowledge at our disposal.

For many unknowns in manufacturing, especially with fiber reinforced materials, Klaus Meitzner has been a big help and support. Thanks a lot for plenty of good ideas and important hints!

Last but not least Dipl.-Ing. Bernd Beschorner has to be mentioned as our testpilot who made the Landroval fly. Being a former student at our university, he still spent a lot of time to do the flight test and gave some valuable hints for further developments from the pilot's point of view.

All other helpers, whether silent or only been forgotten to mention, should be thanked here. We have been supported by so many people, that naming all of them would most certainly be beyond our scope. Additionally this list would never be complete....
